Abstract: The invention discloses a processing technology of eight-treasure congee, and relates to the field of food processing.The processing technology of eight-treasure congee provided by the invention is easy to process and low in cost, and has significant effects on nourishing the stomach and benefiting the spleen.The processing technology of the eight-treasure congee comprises the following steps: 1)performing pretreatment on accessories; 2) performing pretreatment on a main material, namely taking glutinous rice, and carrying out thorough washing so as to obtain a material ready for using; 3) performing pretreatment on auxiliary materials, namely taking round cardamom, radix paeoniae alba, radix gentianae, poria cocos and dried orange peel, carrying out dicing, and carrying out uniform mixing; 4) carrying out cooking over high fire, namely putting the main materials, the accessories and the auxiliary materials into clean water, and carrying out cooking over high fire until the water is boiling; 5) carrying out cooking over low fire, namely turning the fire from high fire to low fire after 5-8 minutes of boiling, and continuing cooking for 30-40 minutes; and 6) carrying out flavoring,namely adding crystal sugar, and carrying out uniform mixing so as to obtain the eight-treasure congee.The eight-treasure congee contains proteins, fat, carbohydrates, calcium, phosphorus, iron, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, nicotinic acid, starch and the like; and thus, the eight-treasure congee is rich in nutrients, and has the effects of strengthening the middle warmer, benefiting Qi, strengtheningthe spleen and nourishing the stomach.Moreover, the eight-treasure congee has certain relieving effects on poor appetite, abdominal distention and diarrhea.
